Dear Friend,

With an openly fascist party Religious Zionism/Jewish Power becoming the third largest party in Israel's Knesset as well as the final disappearance of the doveish Meretz party, we see Israeli and Zionist politics aligning with what has always been the reality on the ground.

Meanwhile Western leaders are falling over themselves not to allow the latest developments to impede their support for the Israeli state. After all it is a watchdog over the United State's oil interests in the region.

The theme of AIPAC and other members of the Zionist lobby is to praise Israel for its robust democracy in having conducted the elections and to tell us that we must 'respect' the outcome. One wonders if these same people would have told us that Germany in 1932 and 1933 was also a robust democracy and that we had to respect the outcome then!

Much of this I have predicted over the years and I am bringing out a book Zionism During the Holocaust which may help people understand the background to the Zionist movement and what is happening in Israel.

I hope to have the final copies in my hands this week and they will be selling for £12.50 paperback and £18 hardback inc. p&p in the UK though I will have to add on extra postage for outside the UK.
