UPDATE: we have 2,666 signatures. When I first started this petition. My family reached out to the tribe, who in turn, denied owning the land. This week we found out they are going to build a farm with cows. (We were not told, we found out through a news article.) I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with blocking the sacred site so that elders cannot go the hill. They have hill 57 still blocked. We are not sure what they are building (no idea on why they have to have buildings for cows). According to the article, they are growing food for the tribe (enrolled members only). They do know about the bodies and urns. They did not reach out to us about my grandma's ashes (they also knew we placed them 6 years ago, we told them when we approached them about the land.) #hill57
