Did you ever wonder why instead of typing your text in TextMate2 (TM2) you stare at the screen searching for the exact location of the cursor (caret)?

TextMate2 is possibly the only professional text editor without the option of switching the vertical line cursor to a block cursor.

The block cursor is handy not only for LaTeX users but all of us.
