"EIA Four week Gasoline DEMAND in the week to April 17 was an all-time record low of 5.529 million, versus EIA Gasoline SUPPLY at a new all-time record high of 263.2 million," Yawger said in a note "Record low demand versus record high supply. I have said his many times before and I am going to say it again...if you don't need Gasoline, you don't need Crude Oil to make Gasoline. Crude Oil is only used for one thing...to send through a refinery and make petroleum products. Gasoline is, by far, the most popular petroleum product, and refineries are generally set up to make as much Gasoline as possible. Right now, refiners are not buying Crude Oil. And nobody is buying product....nobody is driving...nobody is flying...nobody is going on cruises. Nobody needs product....hence, nobody needs Crude Oil."
