Thank you so much for your support!

The petition has been passed on to the Councillor ad Chairman of the DMRC for their further action. Hopefully, this will spur action from the West End police who, when contacted again today, are yet to charge the owner of the dogs.

The Ag. Inspector I spoke with did promise a follow up so I will update you on the progress there.

Ultimately, we not only want #JusticeforToro, but an Animal Control Unit to be established under the Diego Martin Regional Corporation, using the resources and authority of local government and municipal police to enforce the law and provide animal welfare services that are in high demand. If this is objective is achieved, the Unit could be a model for the rest of the country in this regard.

We can't wait for the Police Service to fulfil their promises. We believe this is the optimal solution for this pressing local and national problem.

Thanks again for your support and please continue to share the petition! It will not be closed until our objectives are met.
