The amount of people within the community who either skateboard, ride bmx, roller blade, or ride anything that can be used in a skate park is growing more and more everyday. Taking kids off the streets and giving them a safe place to go where they can do what they enjoy most without vandalizing property would create many positive changes throughout the community. It can bring revenue to the city by hiring kids who actually use the park itself to take care of it. Living in a city in which change is always happening, re-opening the Everett skatepark will be a major positive asset with endless possibilities. This is the Everett Park Uprise.
