It's nice to see Exelon Corp updating their charging locations. But we still have a long way to go! This issue is far from a victory!
It's a great day, Tesla has released their NACS as a standard for all EV manufactures to use on their cars and all EV charging networks to use on their stations. It's nice to see EVGO already using the connector on their stations before the standard was released. With Tesla having over 38,000 chargers worldwide and 1,500 stations (roughly 9 chargers per station) nationwide this makes Tesla superchargers to biggest and most reliable EV charging network worldwide! Tesla's Supercharger network is a model for all other networks on reliable charging!
Hopefully law makers will help Tesla get NACS approved as a standard to help quick adoption.

I would also like to bring the following issues to attention:
ISSUE 5 - Royal Farms
Royal Farms refuses to fix or replace their NOW DEAD units NETWORK WIDE! This is a sad day for EV Owners in the area who used to rely on the Royal Farms EV Network! Royal Farms needs to be questioned by those governments, constituents, & EV Drivers who they committed FRUAD against, and stole their money for a cash grab and publicity stunt! I once praised Royal Farms for pioneering and paving the way to having a state-wide charging network. As of today, I don't see a single Royal Farms Gas pump down and when I do there is a tech on site within a day to fix it. EV Charging stations should be repaired or replaced as fast if not faster than a gas pump does to the fact that most sites only have 1 or 2 EV Chargers with no other options for charging unlike gas pumps that normally have at least 12 or more pumps to choose from! It is unclear how anyone can approve of Royal Farms mishandling of their chargers most of which have faults for PM requirements that are stated in the manuals for the units, broken screens, broken card readers, units powered off, units taped and bagged. almost every unit in the network if not all of them are unusable! The drive from northeastern MD to OC, MD is now nearly impossible with lower range EVs with the fact that the charging network is not reliable! Royal Farms needs to be held accountable for their actions!
ISSUE 6 - EA
EA needs to be held accountable for their actions. They installed CHADEMO at most of their sites without testing them. As people complain about them not working they refuse to repair them. They continue to publish their intention to remove or no longer install CHADEMO plugs do to the fact they have low or no usage. These are FALSE claims due to the fact that they continue to leave their CHADEMO plugs non-functional! Without these plugs being functional there is NO data to prove they are not being used or needed.
ISSUE 7 - Networks selling chargers to property owners
Charging networks selling chargers to property owner with no accountability being laid out for repairs or maintenance! This model is flawed since most property owners like Royal Farms who bought from ChargePoint & Arbys of south York, PA who bought from Blink don't want to repair and maintain the chargers but just have them there to draw in business to make an extra buck! This sales model does not have the EV Driver in mind and leaves them with more unreliable chargers then needed.
