Môj ďalší plán je v pondelok uzavrieť našu petíciu a vytlačiť všetkých podpísaných, aby som ju mohla zaslať do Štrasburgu v papierovej podobe.
Preto vás chcem všetkých poprosiť, aby ste petíciu ešte raz vyzdieľali, zaslali známym a kamarátom a vyzvali všetkých na podpis - nech do konca týždňa nazbierame aspoň 60 000 podpisov.
Ďakujem,
Renata

Dear Friends,
I have received an email on Friday from the office of Mr Tajani :
Dear Ms Papcunova,
Please rest assured that your message has been duly noted.
Following the murder of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová, on 1 March the Parliament’s Conference of Presidents decided to send an ad-hoc fact-finding mission to Slovakia. The mission’s programme and the delegation’s composition were approved by the Conference of Presidents on 7 March.
On 7 March 2018, the ad-hoc delegation of six MEPs left for Slovakia. The delegation was composed of MEPs from 6 different political groups; Ingeborg GRÄSSLE (EPP, DE), co-Chair; Claude MORAES (S&D, UK), co-Chair; Ryszard CZARNECKI (ECR, PL); Sophia in 't VELD (ALDE, NL); Benedek JÁVOR (Greens/EFA, HU) and Marco VALLI (EFDD, IT).
During the EP plenary session between 12-15 March 2018 in Strasbourg, on 14 March 2018, the MEPs held a debate on press freedom and the safety of journalists in the EU. The debate (as text or recording) is available on the Plenary website of the European Parliament (between 16:06 - 17:40 on 14 March 2018) or at the European Commission Audiovisual Services website EP Plenary session Protection of investigative journalists in Europe: the case of Slovak journalist Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová starting at 16:05.
The vote on the above debate is scheduled to take place on 19 April 2018, during the April plenary session in Strasbourg.
My plan is to close the petition by the end of this week, print it out and send it to Strasbourg.
Please reach out to your extended network to try to further increase the number of signatures before the end of this week so we reach to 60 thousands.
