We have learned of yet another demonstration to be held all over Italy on the 6th of May (see details below). Vaccination is already required in some Italian regions for entry to nurseries and kindergartens. The authorities in other regions are now planning to institute the same requirements and a bill is pending in the Italian Senate which would mandate vaccines for entry to school at all levels. No home-schooling would be allowed as children would be barred from taking exams if they are not vaccinated. Doctors and paediatricians who have questioned the safety and effectiveness of vaccines are also being struck off and the MMR is being required for nurses; it is already required for midwives in Bologna.
