Where's the Compassion and Common Decency

This whole process of the Church being obstructive following my reasonable request for my personal information is causing unneeded and increased stress for me and my family. I wish it wasn't so. It should be so simple. I just cannot understand why the Church won't release my information. It should be easy for them to do and would reduce the stress it causes to have to push them for what they should have automatically given me. Any other organisation would oblige in order to reduce anxiety and misunderstanding. Why not the Church? Please share to increase awareness and put increased pressure on the Church to do the right, legal and decent thing. Thank you for your support. Steve
