Brian Hayes, MEP, is to meet with the Chairperson of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), Isolde Goggin, on 28th March. We are further preparing materials to support the fact that this mis-selling of French leaseback properties falls within the remit of the CCPC. The CCPC is the statutary body in Ireland charged with responsibility for promoting and protecting the interests and welfare of consumers through the enforcement of consumer protection law.
