Dear Supporters,

Last week my petition – now signed by nearly 62k people - received national media attention! The article also highlighted the work of Collective Shout which, for the past year-and-a-half, has exposed Etsy for selling child s*x abuse material.

From the Daily Telegraph:

“Etsy is profiting from illegal child s*x abuse material and it’s not like they don’t know about it,” [Collective Shout Campaigns Manager Caitlin Roper] said.

“We’ve been highlighting it for a year, but they’ve remained silent.”

‘The group is backing a 60,000-strong petition set up by Melbourne mum and fashion designer Anna Cordell, who was a seller but quit the platform after coming across “a range of really distressing merchandise” on the site.

‘Etsy refused to give an official comment when approached by News Corp.’

Read the full article here. Collective Shout shared more highlights from the article here.

By staying tight-lipped, Etsy is giving the impression it doesn’t care that it has profited from child s*x abuse material and aided pedophiles in their child rape fantasies. If Etsy wants to keep quiet, we’ll just turn the volume up at our end!

So keep sharing the petition - every new signature helps!

And thanks to everyone who recently signed - I value your support.

Best,

Anna
