Did you receive a payment of $35.97 for a Plaid settlement today? Any US resident who owns or owned one or more accounts accessed by Plaid between Jan 1, 2013 and Nov. 19, 2021 was eligible to receive part of this 58 million dollar settlement, which they chose rather than fighting the accusations of user data theft and sale in court. We find it really interesting that the date of payment of this settlement is not long after after the original expiration date of the timer Etsy gave their sellers to either connect to Plaid, or have our shops shut down.
