Subway has made large strides in the right direction in terms of animal welfare for the products they serve in their restaurants worldwide.  Currently, they have many initiatives in place to take their company from a environmentally conscious institution to a sustainable powerhouse.  However, the standards that they have set are on no strict timeline, while our environmental health is.  Each day provides an opportunity to make socially and environmentally conscious decisions in regards to sustainable lifestyles.  Signing this petition will encourage Subway to provide more vegetarian and vegan options in their restaurants while also putting even more pressure on their meat and dairy suppliers to ensure each and every animal is treated with the same respect that a human receives while also leaving minimum carbon footprints throughout the process.
