ABAIXO ASSINADO (ESTATUA DE TAMANHO REAL DO MAIOR PUGILISTA BRASILEIRO, GALINHO DE OURO, EDER JOFRE)                

 Eu Andrea Jofre residente São Paulo, capital. Venho por meio desta pedir para que seja feita uma estatua em tamanho real do nosso Galo de Ouro, Eder Jofre.

Creio que será bom até como ponto turistico para a cidade. Se tiver possibilidade que seja feita a estátua em frente o Ginásio do Ibirapuera, localizado na Av. Mal. Estenio Albuquerque Lima 413 ou no Parque Ibirapuera, localizado na Av. Pedro Álvares Cabral. Peço que seja nesta região porque foi onde Eder Jofre travou vários combates memoráveis contra adversários da Argentina, Filipinas, Uruguai, Japão, México e a lendária luta contra o Irlandês que havia falado muito mal do Brasil Jhony Caldwell.

Nesta luta teve o maior público do Ginásio do Ibirapuera, com cerca de quase 24 mil espectadores e cerca de uns 10 mil ficando de fora, estimado pela polícia militar. E nesta luta ainda teve a maior renda de um evento esportivo na cidade, sendo apenas superado tempos depois por um jogo entre Corinthians e Palmeiras no estadio do Pacaembu. Ou outra opção seria na praça Charles Miller no Pacaembu.

Eder Jofre, sempre teve muito orgulho de lutar representando o Brasil, tricampeão mundial de boxe, campeão peso-pena pelo Conselho Mundial de Boxe (WBC), e campeão do peso-galo pelo Conselho Mundial de Boxe (WBC) e pela NBA (National Boxing Association), posterior Associação Mundial de Boxe (WBA).

O maior pugilista do Brasil de todos os tempos está eternizado em 5 templos do Boxe, 1. World Boxing  Hall of Fame 1980 / 2. The Ring Hall of Fame 1986 / 3. Internacional Boxing Hall of Fame 1992 / 4. Califórnia Boxing Hall of Fama 2015 / 5. West Coast Boxing Hall of Fame 2021 de Canastota, se juntou, a nomes como Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, George Foreman, Sugar Ray Leonard e muitos outros. Aos 85 anos,  no Hall da Fama da Costa Oeste dos EUA, em cerimônia realizada em um hotel de Los Angeles, ao lado da Calçada da Fama e do cinema que abriga o Oscar. Eder Jofre é o único brasileiro a figurar nesses lugares “sagrados” da nobre arte.

SIGNED BELOW (LIFE SIZE STATUE OF THE GREATEST BRAZILIAN BOXER, GALINHO DE OURO, EDER JOFRE)

I Andrea Jofre, resident of São Paulo, Capital. I hereby ask for a life-size statue of our Golden Rooster, Eder Jofre, to be made.

I think it will be good even as a tourist spot for the city. If possible, the statue can be built in front of the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, located on Av. Mal. Estenio Albuquerque Lima 413 or in Parque Ibirapuera, located on Av. Pedro Álvares Cabral. I ask that it be in this region because it was where Eder Jofre fought several memorable fights against opponents from Argentina, the Philippines, Uruguay, Japan, Mexico and the legendary fight against the Irishman who had spoken very badly about Brazil, Jhony Caldwell.

This fight had the biggest audience at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, with around almost 24 thousand spectators and around 10 thousand being left out, estimated by the military police. And this fight also had the highest income from a sporting event in the city, only being surpassed some time later by a game between Corinthians and Palmeiras at the Pacaembu stadium.

Eder Jofre, has always been very proud to fight representing Brazil, three-time world boxing champion, featherweight champion by the World Boxing Council (WBC), and bantamweight champion by the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the NBA (National Boxing Association), later World Boxing Association (WBA). He fought, as an amateur, under the colors of São Paulo Futebol Clube.

Brazil's greatest boxer of all time is immortalized in 5 Boxing temples, 1. World Boxing Hall of Fame 1980 / 2. The Ring Hall of Fame 1986 / 3. International Boxing Hall of Fame 1992 / 4. California Boxing Hall of Fame 2015 / 5. West Coast Boxing  Hall of Fame 2021 Canastota, joined by names such as Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, George Foreman, Sugar Ray Leonard and many others. At the age of 85,  in the US West Coast Hall of Fame, in a ceremony held in a hotel in Los Angeles, next to the Walk of Fame and the cinema that houses the Oscars. Eder Jofre is the only Brazilian to appear in these “sacred” places of noble art.
