I am an individual deeply affected by the rampant cases of animal cruelty around us. I have witnessed too many instances where animals, be they dogs, cats, or horses, are subjected to abuse and even killing. The laxity in regulations and repercussions for these actions has led to a reckless disregard for life and I am committed to driving change. 

This petition calls on lawmakers to firmly classify animal abuse and killing, not just as a minor infraction, but as a serious crime. We implore the government to impose strict penalties, such as lengthy prison terms for acts of animal abuse and consider capital punishment for the deliberate act of killing domestic animals like dogs, cats, or horses.

We no longer want to live in a world where animal cruelty is overlooked and perpetrators can walk away without any substantial consequences. The law needs to reflect the gravity of these crimes and deter potential abusers. It's high time we solidify our collective belief: the lives of animals matter and abusing or killing them is a crime deserving of severe punishment.
