Thanks to all of you for getting us halfway to our goal! I appreciate the time you took for signing, sharing, and promoting our petition. The people of Emeryville appreciate the support.

Steps are underway to mobilize hundreds to participate in our ballot initiative (Emeryville residents only), but them knowing a thousand people in and out of Emeryville recognize the need for change in our city of thirteen thousand - makes a huge difference.

This hunger strike is difficult, but I feel better every day knowing that the people are listening.
