The Domestic Violence Offender Registry Act (DVORA) will be the first of its kind in the United States! Like the Sexual Offender Registry, if you are convicted of two (Minor) DV crimes, or your current crime results in death of your partner, you will have to register as a Violent Domesticator and will be able to be tracked and traced, wherever you go.

Yes, you will stay on the registry.

Yes, the registry is permanent.

And yes, you will have to register in any state you move to. 

The caveat: if, there is a request for an Order Of Protection (OOP) in a current situation, because of you being ON the registry, it will be given to them IMMEDIATELY! Your history will be the granting order for them. No more waiting... no more having to CONVINCE a third party (the Judge) that protection is needed. Your history will offer that, as a safety net for them. Now the victim has an out before things escalate! This is the purpose of this law and the reason I am fighting so hard. No other parent should have to feel this pain!
