Today is an ordinary day; my Grandson is counting the many types and flavors of candy he got yesterday and there is some sporting game happening today on some channel, somewhere!

Today is yet an ordinary day.

But for Mothers that have lost a child, you feel like this day is not deserved. You have a hole in a part of your soul you can't see, touch or feel, but the absence of that piece is audibly deafening! You are angry, sad, hurt...even worried. One minute, you're hypervigilent to everything and the next minute you are so off-putting, docile and depressed, its scary. Something always freakin' HURTS! You're the best you can be today but you are operating under duress and you cannot do a damn thing about it. 

I wanna get off this ride...this is not a place to be.

I can only hope that today, on this ordinary day for most, that you are able to sign this and then pass this on to someone that can sign the petition so we can keep moving to our 5K goal! This will allow lawmakers to know we are serious about not allowing another parent to feel the loss of a child especially to a senseless act of Domestic Violence!
