I met Indian Ambassador to the USA Tejinder Sandhu last Friday and discussion the proposal for the Consulate in Los Angeles, He is supportive of the idea but needs community documentation and support.

Anyone  who cares about India, regardless of location and nationality should support the idea of an Indian Consulate in Los Angeles. Over 60 countries have Consulates here. 18 of G20 countries have at least TWO Consulates in California. India cannot be a laggard.

Please spread the word, fast. Time is of the essence since other cities are also vying for this Consulate and we need to overwhelm the Government with our support!
