As an update, the State of Hawaiʻi Legislative Session kicks off in January, where we will introduce a bill or two on psilocybin access. The bill(s), if passed, would create a working group under the Department of Health to prepare the framework and infrastructure the State needs to provide therapeutic access to psilocybin when the FDA green lights this medicine for depression and other ailments. We are told the FDA will do this in the next 3 years or so, so Hawaiʻi needs to start the discussion and working out the framework as soon as possible to prepare.

This petition will showcase the widespread support for this issue in Hawaiʻi.
