Gay pride month approaches and I chose the V of the LGBTQ.  V doesn't fit into their narrative of marginalised people for their gender or sexual orientation. It fits into mine.  

Despite Military Sexual Trauma, I am Gender American and Sexual Orientation Fucking Americans. 

Some V consider themselves heterosexual. I call Bullshit on that.  You don't join a band of brothers because you ONLY love women.  

We live in a country that has taken advantage of us. Abused our better nature and judgement by breaking faith on their promises to provide for Veterans.  

Some Veterans have benefits. Some do not.  Some ask for help. Others do not. 

I ask for more.  I ask for the America promised to us by politicians and our leaders for generations.  I want a country that I can feel proud to be a part of.

With this Excise tax to pay every Veteran a full 100% rating of 4,000 dollars a month or more not including dependents, backpay or special circumstances, we can build the country we deserve. 

Some Veterans will receive the medical help they have been asking for. Some Veterans will become Business Owners. Some Veterans will become Farmers. Some won't change at all and that is fine by me. At least they will from now on have options and the opportunity to grow as American Citizens. 

At the very least, America will see us. America will Truly see us as Human Beings and not Just the broken toy soldiers of a war machine.  

I would proudly become a restaurant owner to inspire further change. In my restaurant with my Disability Benefits, if a Veteran walked in, I would say the following:

"There is someone here who has heard the calling to be a Hero. To enlist and fight against the corruption in our land and the evil outside our shores.  There is no doubt that the person who eats here today has sacrificed more than anyone else.  That person will have a free meal provided by us and we will always do this for our Heroes. "

As a private business owner, I would require the other patrons as a condition for their patronage of my restaurant to pay in advance and automatically have a portion of their bill be devoted exclusively towards the Veteran customer who dines at my establishment. 

That would teach my guests that You cannot unsee the damage done by military service but you can provide the empathy to show them that you care. 

With this excise tax to provide 72,000,000,000 dollars to an estimated 18 million Veterans, we can lift that entire community out of poverty, addiction, abuse and despair. 

I will never give up or let down my Veterans. I'll never run around and desert you if you stand by my side to continue defending this nation.
