LDI met with H. E. Michel Aoun the President of Lebanon on May 12, 2017. The President is in full support of the Initiative's objectives and will work with the Lebanese Government to officially request the UN to designate Lebanon land of dialogue among civilizations and cultures and for the UN to establish a universal center for dialogue on its territories.
