Recent Traffic Survey Boxted bridge confirms 97% crossings are by cars, motorcycles and LGVs

A Freedom of Information request for the October 2021 Traffic Survey of Boxted bridge has revealed the following average daily 12 hour traffic flow data taken over a 3 week period for both northbound and southbound crossings on Wick Road:
300 cars/motor cycles (87.6%)
34 light goods vehicles (10.2%)
7 HGV (2.2%)
Traffic flow is low with 97.8% of this low tonnage vehicles and 2.2% HGVs. How on earth can this data justify a need for the demolition of a repairable listed bridge in the AONB for a 40 tonne, 50% wider replacement bridge suitable for HGVs? All three feeder roads to the bridge are single lane unclassified roads with passing places! Fire engines can, and do, cross the current bridge if they need to with no problem.
It is significant that this information is not public nor in the planning application.
