Rally to Remove Confederate Statue in Tappahannock

Calling all citizens of Tappahannock and surrounding areas to Show Up and Show Out today. We will be rallying to call for the removal of the infamous Jim Crow statue located on Prince Street. After the rally, people can attend the Special Council Meeting  in person (as long as you wear a mask), and tell the Tappahannock Town Council, "No white supremacist monument in Essex County!" If you’re a resident of Tappahannock, we strongly encourage you to attend to voice your opinion at the Special Council Meeting. The Tappahannock Town Council will be hosting the Special Council Meeting at 7 PM. Those who are unable to attend can join the optional Zoom Meeting
