Stop cutting Buxwaha forest!

The Issue

In Buxwaha forest of Chattarpur district in Madhya Pradesh lies the biggest diamond mine of India. And it is claimed that 34 caract diamonds can be achieved from there. And to get those diamonds more than 2.15 lakh trees would be cut.
It not only concern for trees, but over 8000 tribals are living in that forest. They will also lose their home and occupation as they are majorly dependent on 'mahua' for their livelihood.
Government said that they will plant 4-10 lakhs of sapling instead of two lakhs of trees. Is this logic valid? Think, if we have to shift from a old house to a new house, until the new one is completely built and is enough for living. Can we think similar with the forest which is home for more than 8000 tribals n lot of animals, medicinal plants and herbs. Can't government create a ecosystem first so that we can compensate the loss of those trees. It is not justice to plant small sampling instead of those old trees.

*Treasure below the land will be in its place but once we lose the treasure about the land it can't be reversed.!*
In 2006 and australian company Rio Tinto got contract for mining over 954 hectares of land but it couldn't be done till 2016 due to environmental concern and protest but again in 2019 same contract was passed out. Haven't we learnt any lessons from now pervious mistakes. Recently, we have faced tough covid times even then government is ready to destroy the ecosystem again. Only difference is this time it is over 382 hectares of land. Out of which only 62 hectares land will be used for actual mining, just used for dumping and debri.
Apart from this Buxwaha is already facing water scarcity it is already declared as Semi Critical Zone. And for mining purpose 5.9 million cubic water will be used daily and to make available this amount of water dam that would be build will cause scarcity in other regions too.
We all must hv heard about the slogan that," Diamonds are forever" but let me tell you that diamond actually don't have any value like gold has a fixed resale value but when we go for selling diamond back they don't have any resale value they are worthless. If diamond is heated up to 700 degrees it will turn to what it actually is 'Carbon'.
We all need to know that oxygen is more precious than carbon!!.
