Los Angeles is know for its “always sunny” weather. Southern Californians know that the weather is not always as peachy as it is portrayed. It is far from abnormal for Los Angeles’ temperatures to reach double digits. 

We subconsciously protect our feet every single day from outdoor exposure. We often forget, or even choose not to protect our furry friend’s paws. Sun exposed floors can reach high temperatures. So high that it burns the bottom of our doggo’s feet. We can’t imagine a naked baby crawling on asphalt in the middle of a high 90s day... why would we think any different for our beloved animals?

Unfortunately, providing proper protection and care for our animals is not common sense to many people. I am starting this petition to seek punishment for those who choose to walk their animals in cruel temperatures without proper protection. I hope you will join me to make a small change for us, but a big difference for our furry friends.
