Jul 22, 2015
Dear Angels Flight Friends and Neighbors,
Thank you for signing the petition seeking to cut the red tape holding Angels Flight hostage.
We're happy to report that Mayor Garcetti has heard our pleas, and has made a Motion for consideration at tomorrow morning's meeting of the Metro Board of Directors.

Agenda item #76 asks Metro's CEO to prepare a report on Angels Flight's history, operations, Federal safety findings and recommendations for resuming operations. We are most encouraged that the Mayor is asking Metro to get involved.
You are encouraged to attend tomorrow's Metro meeting and/or to send an email voicing your support of the Mayor's Angels Flight Motion (#76) to boardsecretary@metro.net by the end of business today.
Attendees at the board meeting may have the opportunity to provide public testimony of up to three minutes about the importance of getting Angels Flight running, and will also provide visible support for the Mayor's Motion, which we very much hope Metro will approve.
The meeting starts at 9:00 a.m, in the Metro Board Room on the main (3rd) floor of Gateway Plaza, the tall building behind Union Station. If you take the Red Line, exit at the far, eastern end of the subway concourse. If driving, the underground garage under Patsaouras Plaza is $6 all day.
