Animal Endangerment is a serious, worldwide problem that affects the environment. We are a group of students at Granada Hills Charter High School, who are working on a project about animal endangerment. Los Angeles is an area that has many endangered animals, which include several different popular species of butterflies, the southern sea otter, and green sea turtle. Many might have seen the documentary called "Urban Ark Los Angeles" about the red crowned parrots that are now thriving in Los Angeles although they are severely endangered in their homeland of Mexico. This has provided hope for other types of animals who are currently endangered, and the city of Los Angeles should take initiative to make animal endangerment issues one of their top priorities.
