Along with the happy news, unfortunately, also comes sad and disturbing news within our province of Alberta.  

An injured deer was basically tortured, instead of humanely put down, by a Lethbridge Police Officer.  Instead of shooting the injured deer, the officer chose to run over the deer several times.  The deer can be heard screaming in pain and suffering each time the vehicle passed over it's body.  This was unnecessary and cruel.    

This officer need to be reprimanded for his/her actions.
