The CEI was founded (1971) by Miles and Beryl Smeeton and is now run by their daughter, Clio Smeeton. This rehabilitation facility does not receive government funding. They rely on donations and income from their kennel: Happytails Pet Retreat, as well as their own personal funds. This is STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SPRING BEAR HUNT. There could also still be April snow storms. If so - please be prepared to help put more pressure on the Alberta Government.
