Hello everyone. 

I just want to express my gratitude to you all. I am a UWindsor alum. I finished in 2001. I was involved in SOS for 3 years, so I did the March Break Visits, Headstart, gave campus tours, etc.  Many things have changed at the university since I left, but the name Macdonald Hall is still there; a hurtful reminder of that awful part of Canadian history. We revere John A. Macdonald, that he is on our $10 bill, but we hardly know about all the shitty stuff that he did. 

Just to let you know also, Mary Caton, the Windsor Star reporter, got in touch with me and she is interested to work on this as well. So if the University administration is pacing slowly over there, I am sure this petition and the media attention will generate traction.

Perhaps, the Canadian Government and Bank of Canada will come to their senses and remove his face on the $10 banknote also. But one mountain at a time, I suppose.
