Reinforcement

The current carve out of SB952 excludes juvenile offenders from 2005 ONWARD which is a direct violation of equal protection rights for juveniles. Essentially those individuals are still sentenced as a adult and serving 85% their sentence. Whereas, juveniles within the carve out have a 60% eligibility date for a chance at parole  

We are hoping with the efforts of our voices we can gain our local officials and state legislative sector to retroactively amend SB952.
