Hello supporters, 

Thank you for your support! Today we met with VP/incoming Principal Torres at Oceana High School's library at 5pm. 

She presented how the Academic Council came to their decision to only have one "AP Humanities" (AP Lit & AP US History) course and also how they evaluated which students were accepted into the fall course. 

The parents and students in attendance made a great case for the creation of a second "AP Humanities" course.

Principal Torres seems to be very nice principal, she listened to our concerns and also gave us a small presentation on the AP.
Having said that , she has agreed to look into the possibility of opening 2nd Class for AP.  She will revert back to us by end of this week.

Next Steps.
Wait for Principal's input.
If we hear "NO" , then I have meeting lined up with Toni Presta.  I spoke to her last night and she mentioned that she will be happy to meet if needed.  
It's always good to address these issues as 1 voice.
