New Year, New Goals: Let’s Take Gio’s Law National!  Let's make it happen!

Last year, thanks to your incredible support, our petition for Gio’s Law gained over 60,000 signatures—a remarkable step toward making life-saving epinephrine accessible to all first responders nationwide. Your voices made a difference, and I’m so grateful.

I’m thrilled to share some exciting progress: Governor Kathy Hochul recently signed an amendment to Gio’s Law here in New York, allowing police in Nassau and Suffolk counties to carry and administer EpiPens. This is a powerful recognition of the importance of equipping first responders with the tools to save lives in emergencies.

But we can’t stop here. Every second counts during a severe allergic reaction, and countless lives could be saved if first responders across the U.S. were empowered with epinephrine. That’s why I’m revisiting this petition with renewed determination to push for Gio’s Law to go national.

We’ve made strides, but there’s more work to do. Let’s build on this momentum and make 2025 the year we secure national legislation for Gio’s Law. Please share this petition with your friends, family, and networks, and encourage others to join us in this critical fight.

Together, we can ensure no family has to experience the preventable tragedy of losing a loved one to anaphylaxis.

Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make this happen!
