The EPFO site has not been working properly since 17 Dec 2016. Employee cannot see their UAN passbook, cannot transfer their EPF
Time line is as follows:
- 17 Dec 2016 : Site goes down
- 28 Dec 2016 : New site unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in launched
- Errors and bugs
- 8 Feb 2017 : New site down again.
It is causing a lot of inconvenience to salaried employees. In the new world of digital India so much time to fix a website is not understandableble
