EPF interest lost due to delay / rejection in EPF transfer

We have found another anomaly in the system. Prior to online EPF transfer which started in 2015, the transfer of EPF were either getting rejected or returned to establishment without any knowledge of the employee. Due to lack of any feedback or online passbook, the transfer information were not available to employees. As a result the account used to go in dormant status. Further govt stopped paying interest to such account from 2011 and employee started losing interest on their hard earned saving.
