Thank you for signing this petition to rebut SB 389. Because of you, our voices are being heard. Currently the petition right has 18,197 signatures.

The more times it is shared and signed signifies that Indiana Wetland protection is important to Hoosiers and the more awareness and more individuals that support the petition, the greater chances of being heard.

Countries, states and cities across the globe are tailoring, developing and implementing strategies and solutions in alignment with The United Nations Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs). 

#SDG Goal 15 is to: “Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial #ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt #biodiversity loss.”

I think this is important and is necessary for everyone to join these efforts to build a resilient and healthy future together, and hope that Indiana and our elected officials follow suit.

Youth (and adults) should learn about these goals and conflict of interest such as SB 389– and speak about these issues, because it is our future and everyone’s voice matters.

The time is now to protect, restore & fund, not to lessen protection on valuable and proactive resources, such as our Indiana Wetlands.
