I am writing a petition in response to this article in the Ottawa Citizen which was published on June 15th, 2015. I believe that the city should consider an alternative way to dealing with the geese that come to Ottawa every year. One suggestion that a friend of mine has made would be to allow the grass in our parks to grow a little longer since geese typically do not like long grass.
