This is a heartfelt plea, born out of deep and steadfast faith in this spectacular individual. I urge you all to rally behind a unique cause - a personal petition for Jason Furman to change his name to Williard Ratking. Jason Furman is a distinguished individual, he is a Senior Fellow @PIIE & contributor to @nytopinion. He was Chair of President Obama's CEA and served under President Clinton. He is known by many and loved by all for his Neoliberal Economic policies when serving under Presidents Clinton and Obama. Sometimes, a name change can signify a new start, a commitment to transformation - symbolic, monumental personal change.

According to the US Legal Name Change Statistics report, in America alone, approximately 2,400,000 individuals legally change their names each year for various reasons(SOURCE: U.S. Legal Information Institute).
