The village still refuses to connect this house up to the watermain. They want the family to wait a whole another year. Remember this waterline is in the front yard. All that is needed is the connection from the water co. 

This is just small town politics gone out of control. The village mayor stated that he doesnt care since they cant vote for him. The town supervisor wont get involved as even though it s in the town it s a village waterline. It has been over 8 months now.

This is a small town , about 5k people and people are split. Some show no empathy and say "too bad" and some are not happy that elected officials are behaving as such. This is the home of Alfred University and Alfred State College. 

The property was bought with the idea of the family living there but the well is not potable. The owners Mom is a Korean War vet and she can not leave her nursing home until clean water is installed.
