Krishinda has stopped working for her employer but was sent an SOS by one of her mothers who had been on her caseload but was determined to free birth. She called her for help when things didn't go to plan. Krishinda assisted to ensure the baby was delivered and gave emergency intervention to ensure it survived.

Mother and baby are doing well but Krishinda is currently under an Interim Suspension Order and awaits the full investigation by the NMC

Her cases raises issue around if healthcare professionals step in to assist outside of work, will they be protected.
