I have been lucky enough to get to know this lady by the powers of social media and try to help her navigate through the difficult job of finding the truth when all doors are closed to you.

As a nurse I am shocked to hear some of the behaviour of some of my peers in the care of her partner, Brian, but sadly not surprised. 

She has finally got some recognition from the Ombudsman of the poor treatment both her and Brian received, time will tell if anyone is held to account. But it is a bigger story than just one or two nurses, or a doctor, or a radiologist. Celia has been trying for the last year to get the Nursing and Midwifery Council to take her concerns seriously and investigate the nurses. She now has strong evidence to show misconduct and many breaches of the code. 

At NMCWatch we make no judgement about individual's cases we are here to support everyone and try to help them navigate through the process to get a fair hearing. It will be interesting to see if the registrants involved in this case seek our support.
