Too many suicides

Yet another case has appeared in the press to show a nurse taking her own life due to stressors she was suffering from her work

This adds to the data from NMC & ONS on this key issue

300 have died by suicide in the last 7 year15 nurses / midwives have died by suicide since April 2015 before the closure of their FtP case.

Since April 2018 - 4 nurses / midwives have died from suicide during their FtP case and investigation

There needs to be better legislation to safeguard our colleagues
