Time to do better

This frank peice shows the story of one of our NMCWatch members who has had a very protracted Fitness to Practice experience. 

From raising concerns in her workplace a series of events followed which made her long standing mental health issues rear their head again after being well controlled for many years. 

She admits to making mistakes and making bad choices but the treatment she received had no excuse.

If we can't safeguard our own nurses and midwives and care for them when they need us to - what hope is there for our patients?
