Kathryn El Karout challenged the NMC at the High Court last year - in their decision to strike her off the nursing register.

Friday 11th January Justice Robin Spencer upheld the appeal and found the case again Ms Karout was conducted with "rendered unfair by serious procedural irregularities". 

Justice Spencer also made comments on the investigation that was held at trust level that were less than favourable, including comments surrounding ” a rather unattractive email from Ms3 bemoaning the appellant’s acquittal”
