Growing up in our city, I was always surrounded by green spaces, fresh air, and beautiful surroundings. These things made me appreciate how important our environment is. But as time passed, I noticed that pollution, littering, and improper waste disposal have become more common. It is sad to see places that were once clean and beautiful slowly being affected by these problems.

Keeping our environment clean is not only about making our surroundings look nice. It is also important for our health and our future. Pollution can affect the air we breathe, harm plants and animals, and contaminate the water we need every day. According to the World Health Organization, around 7 million people die each year because of air pollution. This shows how serious environmental problems can be if we do not take action.

We need to start making changes now, not only for ourselves but also for the future generations. We want our children and grandchildren to experience a clean, safe, and healthy environment. One way we can do this is by having more community cleanups, improving waste management, and encouraging people to practice environmentally friendly habits.

We can also make a difference by properly throwing away our trash, recycling whenever possible, and reducing the amount of waste we produce. Schools, businesses, and communities can work together to save energy, reduce waste, and take better care of our surroundings. Even small actions can create a big difference when we all work together. By being responsible and caring for our environment, we can help keep our city clean and make it a better place for everyone.
