Ensure BMW Honors Confirmed Online Purchases at Displayed Prices
Проблема
I’m just an average citizen — but I managed to lock in what seemed like an unbelievable deal: a used BMW 740d xDrive Limousine listed for just 1 Euro on BMW’s official website.
The car had everything I was looking for: automatic transmission, 48V Mild-Hybrid Diesel engine, all-wheel drive, and only 120,210 km on the odometer. First registered on 26.11.2020, it was exactly the luxury vehicle I had dreamed of — and the order was even system-confirmed.
But then came the shock: BMW refused to honor the deal. They claimed the price listed was a "mistake" — despite their own confirmation system having accepted the order and sent confirmation which I still see in personal space.
This isn’t just about one car or one disappointed customer. It’s about accountability in e-commerce and the responsibility companies have to honor their published prices. A publicly offered online price for confirmed order should be binding. Anything less undermines trust and fairness in digital marketplaces.
This experience is part of a larger issue — many of us have faced misleading pricing, shady disclaimers, and sudden cancellations. It’s time we hold companies accountable for online transparency and consumer rights.
📢 Sign this petition and help send a strong message to BMW and the entire e-commerce industry: we demand honesty, respect, and reliability in online transactions.
