Dear Supporters,
Thank you so much for your support. As you know most survivors still live in hotels. Thanks to you, the RBKC have no choice but to hear our petition at their meeting on Wednesday 27 September at 6.30pm
They have failed to respond to us and show how they consulted with the Grenfell survivors. They have not accepted to review this unfair bidding policy.
We need your help today to keep up the pressure.
Please take a few minutes and send an email to Elizabeth Campbell ( ledaer of the Council) , Kim Taylor Smith ( rersponsible for housing), the Prime Minister and Alok Sharma ( the housing minister)
You can use your own wording or the following
We ask that you immediately review your Housing Allocation policy for the survivors and that you consult with them all. It is not fair and it is not working . We do not see any evidence that your assessments are fair or consistent. They should have been placed in suitable accommodation by now. They continue to be treated as 2nd class citizens while they should be treated with dignity
Elizabeth Campbell Cllr.Campbell3@rbkc.gov.uk
Kim Taylor Smith Cllr.Taylor-Smith@rbkc.gov.uk
Theresa May https://email.number10.gov.uk/
Alok Sharma alok.sharma.mp@parliament.uk
Together we will make that change !
