Clearly, whoever made these comments in this article, does not understand the full petition and our concerns.
There seems to be very little being heard of what people’s concerns are - one just has to read the comments within the petition - and our voices are falling on deaf ears. A 3rd crossing isn’t a quick fix (nor would one be figured out quickly) but we do need to look at the overall city & district roadways/infrastructure. Rapid transit isn’t the answer, as stated in the article.
“…the fact that numerous studies on this issue have already been done, dating back 50 years….” as stated in the article. So do we have to wait another 50 years to have changes to the transportation and other infrastructures we NEED on the North Shore? The population and demand on our infrastructure has changed over the last 50 years.
